Tamil handwriting event

Hey Guys, wassup!!
I hope the new year is going well for you all. Last Year, on December 10th we conducted an event christened as Google User Of The Campus.It was a great success and once again i would like to congratulate the winners for their outstanding performance. Post that we had a Tamil handwriting event on 13th. People who can read and write in tamil were eligible to participate.  Participants were given a device (nexus 4) in which a pre-installed app contained 1000s of tamil words. Participants were asked to write the words shown at the top of the screen in the empty space by either using their fingers or the stylus.
Participants were asked to copy a minimum of 500 words and a maximum of 1000 words. A participant writing 500 word was promised to give a cool Google T-shirt as a token of appreciation. And for those who were writing 1000 or above were promised for two numbers.
                   The main purpose of the event was to collect the handwriting samples of tamil language to understand it better and bring out some cool products in this language. This event is going on all over India, not only in Tamil, but numerous other languages to enhance the database and provide a better user experience.
Today we received the T-Shirts and they are really cool. And yes, these hardworking participants deserve it. They will be getting it tomorrow.Here are a few snaps of them. Can't wait to get my hands on them. ;)
